This is actually my second try at this. My first product was a spreadsheet tool that people would mess around with for a minute, say "oh that's cool," and then never open again.
Took me a while to admit it was a toy, not something anyone needed.
When I talked to freelancers their issues we're way more boring but way more real: their money stuff is spread across a spreadsheet, some invoicing app, and a random tax calculator once a year, and none of it connects. So that's what I built. Proposals you can turn into invoices, expense tracking with actual tax categories, tax estimates, forecasting, and an AI advisor you can ask about your own numbers. Works for US and UK freelancers.
