Hi Product Hunt, I’m the maker of Shortsly.
The idea came from marketing my previous project. Making short videos was taking hours, and the AI tools I tried gave me a finished MP4. When a scene didn’t work, I had to regenerate it or take the result into another editor.
I wanted the time savings of generation without losing control over the result.
Shortsly turns a script or recorded voiceover into an editable video project. It puts together the visuals, narration, text, and sound on a timeline. You can use your own photos and clips alongside generated images.
The important part: you can replace a single image, adjust the framing, change caption timing, or shorten a scene without starting the whole video again. The goal is to get the initial assembly done, then let you make the decisions that matter.
I’d especially like feedback from people making videos regularly: after trying it, what did you still need another editor for? That would help me decide what to build next.

QQ - Are there any plans for integrations? Either direct social media (create and post from Shortsly) or workspace (so my editor can share me a GDrive link instead of dropping a file)?

We’re working on both. TikTok is the first social integration we’re planning to release soon, so you’ll be able to create and publish from Shortsly.
The collaboration side is a bit more difficult. We’re working on team spaces where you can share projects and assets with an editor without passing files back and forth. No release date for that yet.
