Will people trust this thing before they even try it?
We are building a SaaS platform, and one thing I keep coming back to is security assurance.
Not the heavy, enterprise-style “please read our 42-page policy pack” version.
More the first-time user version:
They land on your site.
They like the product.
They are curious.
Then the little voice appears:
“Is my data safe here?”
I am interested in how other founders and product teams handle this.
How do you give people confidence without overwhelming them?
Do you use trust pages, security FAQs, badges, plain-language promises, diagrams, certifications, customer wording, onboarding messages, or something else entirely?
And what have you learned the hard way?
Would love to hear what worked, what felt too much, and what helped users feel safe enough to take the next step.
