where do you save your articles? do you keep track of what you've read?

I made or "ponder" for myself. It started as a spreadsheet with two tabs: "Want to read" and "Read."

I enjoyed the process of finding new articles and adding them to my always growing list, then marking them as complete and giving them a rating when I finished them. This process helped me remember what I read and made it easy to recommend articles to friends.

Eventually, I was adding categories, comments and the spreadsheet was getting large, so I started a website and poured all of my data into it... 4 months later we have over 5000 articles, 800 ratings and 100 active users who are the first members of a community which is growing every day.

I am so proud of what we've built together. Every added link, every rating, every completed article could be the breadcrumb that would lead someone to their next good read. That can be powerful! One essay has the ability to completely change your life or open your mind to profound new ideas.

I am happy to have made ponder for myself, but I feel in my heart that there are others like me who would find it useful. If that is you please feel welcome to send me a message (or even better, your favorite article).

Happy reading!
