πŸ‘‹ Meet TagRadar

byβ€’

Hi Product Hunt! πŸ‘‹

I'm excited to share TagRadar, a tool I built to help marketers, founders, SEO professionals, and researchers discover how websites and brands are discussed across Reddit.

I originally built it because manually searching Reddit for brand mentions, backlinks, and community discussions was slow and inconsistent. I wanted a faster way to answer questions like:

  • Where is a website being mentioned on Reddit?

  • Which subreddits talk about a brand the most?

  • What topics generate the most discussion?

  • Which conversations could become marketing or outreach opportunities?

What TagRadar helps you do

βœ… Discover Reddit discussions about websites and brands

βœ… Find communities related to your niche

βœ… Analyze Reddit visibility before launching a campaign

βœ… Research competitors and industry conversations

βœ… Save hours of manual Reddit searching

Who it's for

  • SEO professionals

  • Content marketers

  • SaaS founders

  • Indie hackers

  • Affiliate marketers

  • Agencies

  • Startup teams

I'm continuing to improve TagRadar based on user feedback, so I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts.

If you have ideas for features, workflows, or integrations, please leave a comment. I'd love to hear how you research Reddit today and what would make the process easier.

Thank you for checking out TagRadar and supporting independent makers! πŸš€

Neat niche, Reddit specifically is underserved for this. One workflow idea: pair "where is my brand discussed" with "can an AI assistant actually find and cite my own site." They're different layers of the same problem. I built a free checker for the second one (crawler access, structured data, answer-shaped content) since I kept seeing brands show up fine in Reddit discussion but be completely invisible to ChatGPT/Perplexity because their own site was unparseable. Might be worth a combined workflow down the line: TagRadar tells you where people are already talking about you, mine tells you whether the destination you'd send them to actually works for AI.
