Launched today: WISCA, CBSE assessments that show what to teach next

by•

We launched WISCA on Product Hunt today and the launch runs until 12:01 a.m. PT tomorrow. It is assessment software for schools following India's CBSE curriculum, Classes 6 to 12.

What it does: teachers prepare the question paper from the chapters they teach, confirm marking from phone photos or scans, and get chapter-wise results that show which chapter needs another lesson. Teachers stay in control of the questions, the marks and when results are shared with students and parents.

Launch page: (the screenshots show the real product with a fictional demo school and made-up pupil data).

We are a small team in Noida with no audience on Product Hunt yet, so today is our first day in front of this community. If you teach, run a school or build for education, three things would help us: a look at the launch page, your honest reaction to the tagline ("CBSE assessments that show what to teach next"), and one example of something an assessment report failed to tell you. I am in the comments all day and reply to everything.

Congrats on launching, Pradeep! I'm not a teacher, but I'm launching my own first product here on Tuesday, so I know exactly how today feels. 😄

On the tagline, "show what to teach next" is the strong part. It promises an answer, not just a score. Most assessment tools stop at "here's the mark", and this goes one step further to "here's what to do about it". If anything, I'd lead with that and let "CBSE assessments" be the detail.

Marking from phone photos is a clever touch too. That's meeting teachers where they actually are. Good luck today!
