I spent months building an independent startup registry. Is this actually useful?
Hey everyone,
I’m the founder of UpForge.
I started building UpForge around a simple problem: finding trustworthy information about startups is still surprisingly difficult.
There are directories, social profiles, launch platforms, and databases, but startup information is often scattered, outdated, or difficult to verify.
So I built UpForge — an independent registry for verified startups.
We’ve just launched on Product Hunt, and after spending so much time building it, I’d genuinely like feedback from founders, builders, investors, and people who discover startups regularly.
What would make a startup registry genuinely useful to you?
And if you have 2 minutes, I’d love for you to take a look at UpForge and tell me what you think.
