I made my MacBook desktop fold with the lid. BendMac is free and open source.
Hey everyone! I'm Jamie, an 18-year-old student, and I've been working on a little macOS side project called BendMac.
It makes your desktop bend and blur as you close your MacBook's lid. It's inspired by Bendy (https://trybendy.app), and I wanted to make a free, open-source version that anyone can contribute to.
See the animation and download it: https://bendmac.app

A quick compatibility note: automatic tracking needs a supported lid-angle sensor. The M1 Air and M1/M2 Touch Bar Pros currently aren't supported for lid tracking. The site has the details, and there's a manual preview too.
It's a fun project, completely free, and we've already had a community contribution merged. I'd love to hear what you think of the animation, or what you'd improve. Bug reports and PRs are very welcome :)
