I have 1,000+ users and almost nobody uses the “important” feature
I have 1,000+ users on my job search product.
Here’s the weird part.
Most people are willing to upload a resume.
But after that, many don’t take the next step.
They don’t tailor.
They don’t save jobs.
They don’t follow up.
They don’t use the tools that are supposed to help them apply better.
This made me rethink the whole product.
Maybe job seekers don’t want “more features.”
Maybe they want to be told the next best action.
Not a dashboard.
Not 20 buttons.
Not another AI chat box.
Just:
“This job is worth applying to.”
“Your resume is missing these 3 things.”
“Tailor this before you apply.”
“Contact this person after applying.”
I’m building TryApplyNow around that idea now.
For founders here:
When users complete step 1 but ignore step 2, how do you think about it?
Is it a product problem, a timing problem, or a trust problem?

For context, this is the product I launched:

Not asking for hype. I’m trying to understand the post-upload drop-off and would love honest feedback.
