I built Certix to make issuing and verifying certificates easier π
Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm an indie developer from Ukraine πΊπ¦, and I've been working on Certix β a simple platform for creating, managing, and verifying digital certificates.
π‘ The problem
If you run online courses, webinars, workshops, or training programs, issuing certificates can quickly become a headache.
Creating PDFs manually, managing hundreds of recipients, sending certificates, and verifying their authenticity takes time that could be spent on education.
π My solution: Certix
A platform designed to make digital certification simple and accessible.
β
Create professional certificates and diplomas
β
Generate certificates with unique QR codes
β
Verify authenticity through a public online registry
β
Manage and revoke issued certificates
β
Generate PDF certificates
β
Verify certificates without exposing personal information
π― Who is it for?
β’ Online course creators
β’ Teachers and educational institutions
β’ Training centers and coaches
β’ Webinar and workshop organizers
β’ HR and corporate training teams
β’ Communities and event organizers
My goal is simple: make issuing certificates as easy as creating a document, while making verification trustworthy and accessible.
I'm building Certix as an independent developer, and I'd love to get feedback from the Product Hunt community.
A question for fellow makers: Have you ever needed to issue certificates for your courses, events, or communities? What was the most frustrating part of the process?
I'd love to hear your thoughts! π

Feedback from the verifier's side, since that is who the registry is really for. A recruiter or compliance officer checking a certificate wants three answers in under ten seconds: is it genuine, is it still valid, and who issued it. Revocation is the part I would make most visible, because a verification page that says valid for a certificate withdrawn last month does more damage than having no registry at all. I would also decide early whether a verification link can be opened by anyone who has it, or only with the holder's consent, since that is where the privacy question bites. For the HR and corporate training segment, will issuers be able to set an expiry date, for things like annual compliance training?
