I built a digital product store without user accounts — would love feedback on the approach
I’ve been building Aoxil, a digital products platform where customers can discover a product, pay, and receive it directly by email without creating an account or managing a dashboard.
One of the decisions I made was to reduce as much friction as possible between discovering a digital product and actually receiving it.
I’m currently starting with occasion-based digital products and plan to gradually expand into templates, printables, creative assets, and other downloadable products.
As a solo builder, one thing I’m still trying to understand is where customers value convenience most in this type of buying experience.
For those who buy digital products, what usually stops you from completing a purchase: account creation, unclear licensing, price, trust, checkout friction, or something else?
I’d especially appreciate feedback from anyone who has built or purchased digital products before.
