Building an MCP server that lets you ask Claude what SaaS ideas are worth building

Hey PH community,

I've been building FounderSignal over the last few weeks and wanted to share it here.

The problem I'm solving: every time I wanted to validate a new idea I'd lose an entire Saturday to it. AppSumo, TrustMRR, Reddit, Product Hunt, Indie Hackers... copy-pasting numbers into a spreadsheet for hours and still ending up with no clear answer.

So I'm building an MCP server that connects Claude to all those sources directly. You just ask what's worth building and get a ranked list backed by real revenue data, growth signals and community pain points.

It's early. The server is live on npm and listed on the official MCP registry and pulsemcp. The data pipeline is still being built but you can already install it and explore the interface.

Would love feedback from this community especially on:

• Which data sources matter most to you when validating an idea

• Whether the MCP approach makes sense or you'd prefer a web app
