Building a deep tech startup is much harder than I expected

I’m building VertoX, a real-time AI translation platform that preserves your voice, tone, and emotions across languages.

Over the last 2 years, I’ve faced a lot of challenges while building it.

Finding the right team.

Choosing the right technologies.

Managing infrastructure.

Servers.

GPUs.

Latency.

Scaling decisions.

Meeting the right people.

Talking with investors.

Trying to grow visibility around the product.

And honestly, there are probably 100 more things most people never see behind the scenes.

But one of the biggest problems for us right now is resources and access to the right network.

When you’re building something as infrastructure-heavy as VertoX, resources matter a lot. Without enough connections, funding, or support, things become much slower and harder to scale.

Still building, though.

Curious what other founders here struggled with the most while building their startups.
