How do you keep track of which CV went to which job?

by•

Hi everyone, I’m Oleksandr, the maker of Rolebranch. We launch here tomorrow, Tuesday 3 November, and I’d love to start a conversation before then.

Rolebranch started with a mess I think many of us know: after the third application there’s CV_final_v4.pdf, a dozen ChatGPT chats and no idea which cover letter went to which company.

So in Rolebranch you keep one master CV, and every job you add gets its own tailored copy, cover letter and interview prep, all on one board. Romy, the assistant inside, suggests changes word by word and you keep only what you like. When a line needs a number only you know, she leaves a blank instead of making one up.

Here’s my question for you: how do you keep track of your applications today? A spreadsheet, Notion, a folder of PDFs, or nothing at all? And if you’ve tried AI on your CV, what made you trust it, or not?

It’s free during the beta (100 credits to start, 50 more every month, no card) if you’d like to try it first:

I’ll reply to every answer. Thanks for reading 💚
