Reflect - Your AI assistant, on your machine, and it remembers you

by•
Reflect is a free, open-source desktop assistant that runs on your own AI models. It remembers you in plain files you can edit, connects to your apps through MCP, runs tasks on a schedule, and shows a count of everything that leaves your computer.

Hi, I'm the maker. I built Reflect because I wanted an assistant that remembers me without my conversations living on someone else's server. It runs on Ollama or any local model server. Its memory is a folder of Markdown files, so you can read, edit or delete anything it knows about you. It can reach your calendar, notes and other apps through MCP connectors, run tasks on a schedule, and take dictation and read replies aloud, all on-device. It's free and MIT-licensed. The Mac and Windows builds are unsigned for now, so your computer will warn you the first time; the README says how to open it. I'd love to know which local models work well for you and what breaks.
