Do you want to see real furniture in your room with AI, or does invented furniture do the job?

by•

Honest question before we launch redsgn tomorrow.

Most AI room tools (RoomGPT, Interior AI, the restyle filters) repaint your photo with furniture that doesn't exist. It looks great, but you can't buy any of it, and the sizes are a guess.

redsgn goes the other way: upload a photo of your room, say what you need and your budget, and it places real IKEA and Sklum pieces in your photo at their true dimensions, each with a link to the shop. Less magic, more "can I actually buy this and will it fit".

What I want to know from you:

  1. When you plan a room, do you want to see real, buyable furniture, or is a pretty mood image enough?

  2. Would you trust an AI visualisation (not a technical drawing) to decide what to order?

  3. Which shops would you need in the catalogue for this to be useful where you live? Ours is Dutch today (euros), Croatia next.

I'll answer every reply. Launching Tuesday.
