I'm Yury, I run bēon, a small low-latency live streaming setup. I kept needing a quick way to check if a live stream is actually low-latency and healthy, without wiring up tooling every time. Couldn't find a simple public one, so I built Pulse.
You paste a live stream URL (HLS/LL-HLS, also DASH and WebRTC/WHEP) and it grades its latency and health: TTFB, segment/part duration, live-edge latency, whether LL-HLS is actually engaged and not just signalled, and more. Free, no signup.
It also checks from a few regions (EU, US, India, Asia), so you can see how far your viewers on the other side of the world really are from the edge, not just from where you happen to be sitting.
It's built on top of what we do at bēon, so yeah, I'm a latency nerd 🙂 Would love feedback: what else should it measure, and throw me streams that break it.
