Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Matthew, an 18 year-old college student and the solo founder of PromptShield. I built PromptShield because I kept noticing the same problem with AI: the quality of the answer depends heavily on how you ask the question, but most people don’t want to learn prompt engineering just to get a good response. So I wanted to make that process almost invisible. With PromptShield, you write your prompt normally inside the AI chat you already use, click Optimize, and it improves the prompt before you send it. No switching tabs, no copying prompts into another tool, and no need to know how to “prompt engineer.” I’ve been building PromptShield by myself while in college, and there’s still a lot I want to improve. This launch is a big step for me because I finally want to get it in front of real users and learn what actually helps them.
