Do people actually want to learn prompt engineering?

by•

I’ve been thinking about this a lot while building PromptShield.

AI keeps getting more powerful, but getting a good response can still depend heavily on how you ask the question. There are tons of prompt guides, templates, and techniques out there, but I’m not convinced the average person actually wants to learn prompt engineering.

That’s why I built PromptShield around a different idea: just write what you want normally, then improve the prompt directly inside the AI chat you already use.

I’m curious what other people think.

Do you actually spend time trying to write better prompts, or do you usually just type whatever comes to mind and hope the AI understands you?
