Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Mathew here, founder of PriceComparePros. What inspired this? Honestly, frustration. I was shopping for a laptop and spent 45 minutes across 12 browser tabs comparing prices across different retailers , only to find I'd missed the best deal on a site I hadn't even checked. Existing comparison tools either covered one country, had stale data, or were clearly biased toward whoever paid them the most. I wanted something genuinely independent. The problem I set out to solve: Price comparison is fragmented by country and language. A shopper in Qatar, Ireland, or India all face the same problem - too many retailers, no single trusted source. Most tools are built for the US/UK and stop there. I wanted to build one platform that works everywhere, in the local language, with real prices. How the approach evolved: I started with 4 English-speaking countries. It grew fast, we're now live in 36 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond, with 23 languages including Arabic, Hindi, and Japanese. What began as "just show the lowest price" evolved into price history charts, email alerts, buyer's guides, a travel deals section, and native Android + iOS apps. The biggest shift was realizing SEO and trust matter more than features. Shoppers don't need 50 filters, they need accurate prices from retailers they recognize, fast. Built this solo.
