I built this because I got tired of practice platforms reporting a score to the nearest point when nobody outside the College Board has the equating data to justify the last two digits.

Preptics reports a range with a stated confidence instead — ±60 after one mock, narrowing to ±40 after three, where it stops, because what's left at that point is conversion error and a fourth test doesn't reduce it. The whole method is public at /how-scores-work, thresholds included.
