We built an AI website builder where you click an element instead of re-prompting the whole page
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Yozhef, one of the two makers behind Ploof Studio — a Mac app that turns one sentence into a whole website.
Why we built it: as "the IT guy", I kept getting the same request from friends and small businesses — "can you make me a website?" And then a week later — "can you change this one button?" We wanted a tool where they could do both themselves.
What makes it different:
- Point and edit — click any element in the preview and say what to change. Only that element changes, not the whole page.
- Pick a style — 6 templates and 6 styles to start from.
- Your site, your accounts — publish to Vercel, GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages, or download a ZIP. Plain HTML/CSS/JS, no lock-in.
- Domain finder — suggests names, checks availability and compares prices on Vercel and Cloudflare.
- AI included — runs on Setapp AI credits out of the box, or bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Vercel AI Gateway or OpenRouter key.
We're early and honest about it: our very first review was a thumbs-down because we broke one model right before launch (fixed in 2 hours 🙃).
Two questions for you:
1. What would you build first with it?
2. What's the one thing that annoys you most in AI site builders today?
Every reply gets read by a human — usually me.
