Hey Product Hunt! š
I'm Chase, a junior in high school, and I built PixelForge over the past several months.
The idea started because I wanted a way for students to make real games without needing to learn to code first. Everything runs in the browser ā no install, no setup. You draw your own sprites, design levels, add sound, and export a single .html file that anyone can open and play.
A few things I'm proud of:
ā The exported game is a real standalone file. Upload it to itch.io, email it to a friend, or open it offline. It just works.
ā Pixel-perfect collision detection ā the hitbox is literally your drawing, pixel by pixel
ā The whole thing is one HTML file with no dependencies
I'd love your feedback, especially from teachers or anyone who works with students. And if you find any bugs, please let me know ā I'm actively working on it every week.
Try it free at pixelforgegames.net/app ā no account needed to start building.
Thanks for checking it out! š®
