PDF Cure - 150+ PDF & image tools that never upload your files

by
PDF Cure is a free toolkit of 150+ PDF and image tools that all run inside your browser tab. Merge, split, compress, sign, convert, edit, OCR, redact, fill forms — none of it uploads your file to a server. Works offline once loaded, installs as an app, speaks 26 languages, and the core tools don't ask for an account.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I built PDF Cure because every "free PDF tool" site wants you to upload the file first — and I didn't love sending contracts and IDs through someone else's server.

So every tool here runs client-side. pdf-lib and pdf.js for PDFs, Tesseract WASM for OCR, Canvas/WebCodecs for images. Your file stays in the tab. Go offline after the page loads and most of it still works.

What's in it:

• The full PDF set — merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, page numbers, redact, sign, protect, unlock

• ~30 image tools — convert (HEIC, WebP, AVIF, TIFF…), resize, compress, crop, upscale, remove background, remove EXIF

• OCR — image and scanned PDF to text, 14 languages

• A section for filling common US gov forms (W-9, W-4, I-9, 1099-NEC…)

Free. Core tools need no login. Google sign-in only unlocks the AI tools (summarize / translate) and a higher daily limit.

Would love feedback on which tools are missing and where the UX trips you up.
