Anything that takes the friction out of managing blogs gets my vote. Every time I think I should write more, I end up spending too much energy on the tech stack, and not enough on the words! Look forward to seeing if Pagecord is the answer!

 Hi, Pagecord isn't an API (yet, at least!), it's a standalone blogging/website builder app. That said, people often use it to complement another site and host it on a subdomain like if that makes sense?

It's early days for , but I'm liking it so far. I was looking for a simple, no fuss text first blogging service and particularly wanted one based in Europe. PageCord seems to tick all those boxes and is a relative bargain to boot.

Pagecord exceeded my expectations. Simple yet robust. The ability to reply to a post directly via email, without needing to open another application, is a unique feature I haven't found on any other blogging platform. After three months of use, I'm positively impressed with the constant improvements.

Post-by-email for blogging is underrated - it removes the friction of logging into a dashboard and dealing with CMS interfaces. The fact that you can reply to posts directly via email without opening another app is a genuinely unique workflow I haven't seen elsewhere. Privacy-respecting analytics at $29/year is refreshing compared to platforms that monetize through ad tracking. Being open source and Europe-based adds credibility for data sovereignty. How does the email posting handle attachments like images - do they get automatically uploaded and embedded, or do you need to host them separately first?

has done a great job with Pagecord. It is simple yet flexible, and owns the best value-for-money in the market for simple blogging platforms. I believe the Obsidian-to-Pagecord integration he has been testing could be a game changing feature and attract a lot of users to the ecosystem.
