Opsolute - See which customer, team & pod is driving your AWS bill

by•
Most AWS cost tools tell you how much you spent. Opsolute tells you why, and who caused it. It combines your AWS Cost & Usage Report with live AWS and Kubernetes metadata to map every dollar to the team, product, and customer behind it. No tagging project needed first. • Cost per customer, tenant & product, with gross margin • EKS pod & namespace cost attribution • Anomaly alerts in under 15 min, sent to the owning team • Root cause for every spike • Agentless, read-only setup

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I'm Alfateh, Founder at Opsolute.

Here's a moment every engineering lead knows: the AWS bill jumps 30%, finance asks why, and three engineers spend two days in Cost Explorer trying to figure out which service, which team, and which customer caused it.

We kept seeing the same gap. Cost tools are good at "how much" and "save X%". They're bad at "why" and "who". Getting that answer usually means a months-long tagging project that is never finished.

So we built Opsolute to answer those questions from data you already have.

What it does

• Maps every dollar to the workload, team, product, and customer behind it by combining your CUR with live AWS + Kubernetes metadata. No perfect tags required.

• Shows cost per customer and gross margin per customer, so you can see which accounts are profitable and which ones your infra is quietly subsidizing.

• Breaks EKS costs down to the namespace and pod.

• Catches anomalies in under 15 minutes and sends them to the team that owns the resource, with the likely root cause attached, not just a generic alert to a shared channel.

• Recommends rightsizing, idle cleanup, and commitment changes, ranked so you know what's safe to act on first.

Setup is agentless and read-only.

Who it's for: SaaS teams on AWS (especially with EKS) where engineering and finance need to agree on where the money goes.

Where we'd love your feedback

1. How do you currently figure out why your cloud bill changed?

2. Would cost-per-customer data change any pricing or sales decisions at your company?

3. What would stop you from connecting your AWS account to a tool like this?

We'll be here all day answering every question. Roast us too, it helps 🙏
