OpenField - Ask for the edit. Get the edit.

AI video editor in your browser. Turn raw footage into a rough cut: transcript editing, auto captions, silence removal, then export a file or hand off to Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 Every edit used to start the same way: watching everything back, cutting the dead air and the ums, roughly assembling, and only then getting to the interesting part. Hours of work before the work. The AI editors I tried wanted my footage on their servers first. For a few hours of 4K that is a long upload and a strange thing to hand over. Browsers can decode, render and export video now, so OpenField does it the other way round: the AI decides the edit, your machine performs it. Nothing is uploaded. You bring your own model key, so there is no markup on top of what you already pay. The biggest change while building was about trust. Early versions just did things and told you afterwards. Now every edit lands on a real timeline you can inspect, undo in one step, or take over entirely, and when you want to finish in Premiere, Resolve or Final Cut you can hand the cut straight over. The free tier includes the whole editor. I would love to hear what breaks.
