NorthernGo - AI app builder with unlimited local WebGPU generation
by•
NorthernGo turns a plain-text idea into a working web app with three agents: Architect, Builder, Critic. Output is Vanilla HTML/JS/Tailwind you own, with EU Supabase Postgres, auth + GDPR delete-account, and a PWA. Unlimited local generation in the browser via WebGPU (or Ollama) — prompts stay on your machine. Cloud Gemini when you need more power, metered by plan. Free includes unlimited local. Built in Lycksele, Sweden.

Hey Product Hunt — Nicklas from Lycksele, Sweden.
NorthernGo is an AI app builder I built as a Swedish sole trader. You describe an idea; three agents (Architect, Builder, Critic) design, write, and review code into a working web app.
What you get out
- Vanilla HTML, JavaScript, and Tailwind (no React lock-in, no build step)
- Supabase PostgreSQL in the EU by default
- Auth with GDPR-style delete-account
- Installable PWA + subdomain
- ZIP export on Premium and up
The bit that is actually different
Most AI builders only run generation in the cloud. NorthernGo can run generation locally in the browser via WebGPU (or against your own Ollama). Weights download once and cache; after that, in local mode, prompts and generated code do not leave the machine, and local runs are not metered — including on Free.
Cloud (Gemini) is still there when you want a larger model. It is metered by plan:
- Free — 0 SEK: 5 cloud gens/mo + unlimited local
- Premium — 179 SEK / $19: 25 cloud, ZIP export
- Pro — 299 SEK / $29: 50 cloud, Shopify, custom domain, MCP, and more
Honest caveats
Local models are 3–9B-class, quantised, on your GPU. They are not in the same league as cloud Gemini. Good for landing pages, forms, small tools, and bounded edits. Weak on multi-view CRMs, big compound prompts, and deep debugging. Our recommendation: first structural pass in the cloud, then iterate locally.
Lovable, Bolt, and v0 win in places we do not — React/enterprise, browser IDE flexibility, or Vercel/Next design workflow. We are for individuals and small teams; GDPR-first, no SOC 2 / ISO.
Happy to answer stack, WebGPU hardware, pricing, or when you should not use this.
