NookMoney — Calm your finances - A calmer way to understand money.

by
Most finance apps feel overwhelming with complex dashboards, ads, or mandatory bank connections. Nook Money takes a different approach. It’s an offline-first, privacy-first personal finance app for tracking expenses, budgets, savings goals, bills, and credit cards. No account required—your data stays yours. With receipt scanning, AI assistance, optional iCloud sync, and a thoughtfully designed experience, managing money feels simple instead of stressful.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Prans, the solo developer behind Nook Money. I’ve always been someone who loves tracking things—my finances, schedule, habits, and goals. Along the way, I tried a lot of finance apps. They were all great in their own ways, but none of them felt quite right for how I wanted to manage my money. So I decided to build Nook Money. I wasn’t trying to build another finance app or compete with what’s already out there. I simply wanted to create one with my own personal touch—something calm, private, thoughtfully designed, and enjoyable to use every day. Nook Money is an offline-first, privacy-first personal finance app where you can track expenses and income, manage budgets, savings goals, bills, and credit cards, scan receipts, and even use AI to log transactions and answer questions about your finances. No account is required, and optional iCloud sync is available if you want to keep your data in sync across your Apple devices. Over the past four months, Nook Money has evolved through countless iterations, feedback, and improvements into the app I’m excited to share today. This is only the beginning. I have a long roadmap ahead, and I’m looking forward to continuing to improve Nook Money with feedback from the community. I’d love to hear your thoughts—what’s one thing you wish your current finance app did better? Thanks for checking out Nook Money! 🌿
