Nimbalyst - Open-source workspace for building with Codex & Claude Code

Nimbalyst is an open-source visual workspace for building with Claude Code, Codex, Opencode (Alpha), and Copilot (Alpha). It integrates parallel session management, kanban boards, WYSIWYG visual editors (markdown, mockups, diagrams, data models), diff review and approval, task tracking, file management, a robust extension system, and a mobile app for remote session management. Integrate your agents, sessions, files, and tasks.

We have been building with coding agents since they came out last year. We became convinced that not only development, but product management, design, and most knowledge work would be accomplished by builders managing coding agents. We set out to create a delightful and high bandwidth visual workspace for builders. For us that meant (1) integrating coding agents with file management, session management, task management, and visual editing (2) making this open source so the whole community can contribute and (3) making it extensible so builders can customize and add their own visual editors integrated with agents. For the past 5 months, we have been iterating on Nimbalyst and getting feedback from 5000 Beta users. We think its ready to share more widely and start iterating with the whole community, so today we are open sourcing Nimbalyst under an MIT license for the whole local editor. (AGPL for the multi-user collaborative features) . Please try Nimbalyst. We'd love your feedback.
