Gemini 3.8 Flash just dropped and it's insane

Hello guys,

While building Murmell, my Co-Founder tried gemini 3.8 and damnnnnnn it's insane

it's way too fast and efficient,

My ranking today :

1 . Gemini 3.8 Flash

2. Gpt 5.6 Sol ultra fast

3. Claude Fable 5.1

4. Grok 4.6

I didn't tried Gpt Astra yet, but i expect it to be far better that gemini which will be insane.

Whate are your thoughts on the new models and what are the one that fits you the best ?

I haven’t tried the Gemini 3.8 Flash yet, but now I’m a little curious. Personally, I’ve generally preferred ChatGPT and DeepSeek so far, and Gemini has felt a little behind for my use cases. Perhaps for this new model, I will give it a try and see how it goes.

 did you took a look to GPT 6 Astra ?

 Not yet, but I’ve seen a few mentions of GPT 6 Astra on the social media space, but I haven’t properly tested it myself. Have you tried it? Anything that stood out compared with the current models?

the interesting part is not just which model wins but where each one wins. have you tested them on actual production tasks yet rather than quick prompts?
