Would you play ranked matchmaking for real-life ball sports?
by•
We're building an arena system in Mouve: League of Legends style matchmaking, but for real-life racket sports like badminton, padel and tennis.
You play, get elo, Mouve matches you with players of a similar skill nearby, you play the match in real life, and the score is picked up automatically by our detection system. Your rating goes up or down like a ranked ladder, so the next match is closer and fairer.
A few questions for you:
Would you use something like this? For which sport?
What would stop you: booking a court, trusting a stranger's score, or something else?
Singles queue, or would you rather queue for doubles with a friend?
Honest answers help us a lot, even if it's "no".
