Mirror Test (Free Social Experiment) - What do your friends actually see when they look at you?

byโ€ข
Mirror Test invites your friends to anonymously answer 3 short questions about you. Once enough have responded, Mirror Test weaves their answers into a single honest reflection... the version of you the people closest to you actually see. No accounts, no logins, no tracking.

Hey Product Hunt ๐Ÿ‘‹ I built Mirror Test because I kept wondering what my friends would say about me if they could be totally honest and I knew I'd never actually ask. So I built the asking part. How it works: 1) You create a mirror in 10 seconds (just a name + email, no account). 2) You send it to the people who know you best. They answer 3 anonymous questions about you. Takes 2 minutes. 3) At 3, 15, and 40 responses, an AI synthesizes everything into a "mirror" โ€” your archetype, your contradictions, your blind spots, the version of you others actually experience. What makes it different: * Truly anonymous. Answers are AES-256 encrypted at rest. The owner never sees who said what... only the synthesized reflection. * No accounts. Each mirror is just a secret link. Lose it? A magic email link restores it. * The mirror gets sharper as more people respond. The first reflection is poetic; by 40 answers it's genuinely uncomfortable in the best way. What I'd love feedback on: * The 3 questions, are they the right questions to ask? * The tone of the AI report (too soft, too sharp, or just right)? * Whether you'd actually send this to your friends (and if not, why not). Try it: mirrortest.me ยท See an example mirror: mirrortest.me/example Built solo over a long weekend. Happy to answer any questions about the stack, the privacy model, or the design choices. Ryan
