If your startup were a building in a city, what would it look like?
Product Hunt is where a lot of us first meet each other’s work, and I love how many different ideas show up here every day. We’ve been building Metropolix, an explorable digital city where each startup gets its own building with a public profile inside. I’m one of the makers, so I’m biased, but I’d really like to hear from people here.
The question we keep coming back to is this: if your startup were a building, what would it look like? Would it be a small corner shop, a workshop, a skyscraper, or something nobody has a word for yet? And what would a stranger learn about your company just by walking past it?
I’d like to know what would make you stop and go inside a startup’s building. Tell me if this kind of discovery sounds useful or like a gimmick, since either answer helps us decide what to build next.
