My goal was to remove friction in converting various formats of files I was working with inside LLMs. And why markdown format matters? It's simply easier to read for LLMs - that means, the retrieval accuracy is higher, saving on tokens and faster processing. It's not like you can't simply download a google doc as a markdown file, but the idea is while you are inside an LLM and upload a google doc, you can seamlessly convert it to markdown with 1 click without even changing the tab or opening the document
