Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Michelle here, Director of Growth Marketing at Lingo.

Our customers helped show us what Lingo needed to become next.

Lingo started as a visual home for brand assets. But we noticed customers using it for more than logos, photography, and brand guidelines. They were putting product names, descriptions, and market-specific details alongside their files, making Lingo a place retail partners could go for product content.

That stood out in cannabis. Brands were managing different products, packaging, and requirements across states, then getting that information to dispensaries. Sending a folder of images only covered part of the job. Retailers also needed the right descriptions, product details, and supporting documents.

The same problem shows up across retail. A great product image is useful, but someone still needs to know which size, color, dimensions, or SKU it belongs to. When those details live separately, people have to piece the product back together before they can sell it.

We built Products to keep that information connected.

With this release, you can:

  • Build a structured catalog: Keep names, descriptions, SKUs, UPCs, and images together.

  • Manage variants: Organize shared information alongside details specific to each size, color, or other variation.

  • Manage market-specific information: Keep shared product details together while tailoring descriptions, assets, and other information for different states, regions, or markets.

  • Share selected products: Add products to Kits for different retailers or distributors without recreating their information.

  • Track downstream changes: Channels show which destinations may need updates when product content changes. Updates to outside systems may still require a manual step.

Product Catalogs and Products in Kits are available on all Lingo plans. Channels and Markets are available on Business plans and above.

We’d especially love feedback from people who prepare or receive product content.

  • Where does your current process break down: collecting information, matching it to assets, sharing it, or keeping it updated?

  • What product details or variant structures would our catalog need to handle for your team?

  • When something changes with a product or digital asset, how do you tell partners what needs updating, and how do you know it happened?

If you’ve ever had to chase down the right image and description for the same SKU, we’d love to hear your story. What would make that job easier?
