Hey all, I'm Thien Nguyen, the creator of Kira. 👋

I built Kira to cut the time and friction of using the AWS Console in a browser. I kept drowning in a dozens browser tabs and credentials that expire every hour — and it left me exhausted. So I built Kira first to solve my own problem: a fast, native macOS client for AWS.

Sign in with SSO, exec into ECS tasks, stream logs live, and inspect Secrets Manager — without juggling tabs, CLIs, or re-authenticating constantly. The part I love most is the Spotlight-style search: hit a shortcut, type, and jump straight to any resource.

Kira is free, native, and ships with no telemetry.

I'd love to hear:

  • What's the most painful part of your AWS workflow today?

  • Which AWS services would you want Kira to support next?

Any feedback on the experience — what feels great, what's missing?

Thanks so much for checking it out 🙏
