What do you actually ask AI when you're looking for a tool?

Hi all, I'm the maker of KipSEO.

While building it I kept noticing that the questions people ask AI assistants look nothing like the keywords they type into Google. Nobody asks ChatGPT "best invoicing software". They ask something like "what's a simple invoicing tool for a two-person agency that works with Stripe?"

That matters, because KipSEO checks whether AI names your product for questions like these. If we test the wrong questions, the result means nothing.

So I'd love to hear from you:

1. The last time you asked an AI to recommend a tool, what did you type, roughly?

2. Did you trust what it suggested, or check it on Google, Reddit or G2 afterwards?

3. If you run a SaaS, have you ever checked whether AI mentions you? What did you find?
