It's Out Now - a bio link, release page and promo page, in one.
by•
Artists usually pay for a bio link, then a smart link, then somewhere to send the promo. it's out now is all three. A free bio page. A page for each record that takes fan emails before release day and fills with listening links when it's out. A private page for each writer or DJ you send it to, with their name on it, so you see who pressed play and how far they got. The links get checked every day. One login, instead of a Linktree and a DISCO.

Hi, I'm Ross. I make it's out now.
An independent artist putting out a record usually ends up subscribed to several things. Linktree for the bio link. Linkfire or Feature.fm for the smart link. DISCO or a Dropbox folder for the promo. Plus a spreadsheet with a heard it? column, filled in from who liked your story, hoping the untracked link of their latest release was listened to.
it's out now is those pieces in one place, built around the record.
The fans get one page on one link, from the announce to next year: artwork, date and an email box before release day, listening links after, and a check every day that those links still go somewhere. Everyone the artist sends the promo to gets their own page with their name on it, so the artist knows who pressed play and how far they got, and can stop taking "I'll give it a listen" on trust.
Pricing, so nobody has to go looking: the bio page is free. Single Release is $15 once and includes one promo for that release for six months. Artist is $10 a month. Manager is $20 a month for 2 artists, and $5 for each one after.
There's a bunch of really nice bio and release designs, every promo copy, played or downloaded, is marked to the person it went to, and one of the first free tools for artists has just launched, a free photo resizer that crops one photo for 16 profile sizes and 8 cover shapes.
If you've got this far, two questions. If you make music, what would you want from it? And if you know someone with a record coming out, what are they sending it to press and DJs with now?
