We want InYourInbox to be the Netflix of newsletters: the one place where you can discover new voices worth subscribing to.

We think newsletters can save the internet. And if they can save the internet, they can save the world.

So here we are, saving the world, one newsletter at a time.

Hey everyone, I started InYourInbox because I love the internet, and I hate what’s been happening to it. I’ve been online since the mid 90s, when I had to fax a copy of my ID to the city council just to get an email address, and internet subscriptions were sold in cardboard boxes on shelves. After 20 years of wonders, the net started nurturing our worst instincts: it makes us share before we think, speak before we listen, judge before we know. One day it struck me that the one place safe from click-bait, trolls and crappy ads is one of the oldest ideas in digital: email newsletters. By their nature, they create a special bond between writers and readers, avoid the urge to one-up each other that turns us into pricks on social media, and give us time to properly read and think without distractions. The problem is, you usually stumble upon newsletters from people you already know. There isn’t an easy and popular destination to discover new voices worth subscribing to. This is not just for the techies: it’s for your high school friends who never heard of Product Hunt and get their news from their Facebook and Twitter bubbles. They deserve better. We want InYourInbox to be the Netflix of newsletters. Somewhere you can go and find good stuff whatever genre you’re into. We think that newsletters can save the internet. And if they can save the internet, they can save the world. We’d love to hear your thoughts: tell us we’re right, we’re wrong, we’re crazy… Or tell us what newsletter you want to see on InYourInbox.
