Solo founder, 7 subsidiaries, and a database platform.
I'm Johnny — founder of Young's Multimedia Holdings out of San Antonio, Texas. We're a holding company with seven subsidiaries spanning software, entertainment, publishing, fashion, real estate, wellness, and security.
The software arm is Young's Digital Atelier, and our flagship product is YDA Cloud — a Postgres database platform with a built-in database partner named RAELA who doesn't just suggest SQL. She executes it. Over 2,000 real tools across schema management, security, performance monitoring, compliance, and more. SOC 2 and HIPAA wired at every tier. Flat-rate pricing — no usage overages, no surprise bills.
We also just launched RAELA as an MCP server, so if you're building with any MCP-compatible client, you can plug straight into your database and let her work.
Beyond the database, we're building across a few other spaces — NarrativHQ takes writers from concept to manuscript, MythosCodex Forge is a studio development system that takes original IP from seed to pitch-ready packet through the full development pipeline, and Gelliebean is an ML data and model training platform. More in the pipeline.
Everything we build comes back to one idea: create things that connect, comfort, and inspire. That's not a tagline — it's the filter every product decision runs through.
I'm a night-shift emergency department clinician building all of this between shifts. No VC money, no board, no outside control. Just the work.
Happy to be here. If you're building something too, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
Check out what we're building at youngsdigitalatelier.com, and the database platform at ydabase.com.

Welcome, Johnny! 👋
That’s an impressive range of projects, especially while working night shifts in the emergency department.
I’m Mia, fairly new to the Product Hunt community myself. I work in product marketing and will soon be launching a productivity tool for Mac users, so I’m currently learning a lot from founders and makers here.
Wishing you the best with YDA Cloud and the rest of your ventures. Thanks for sharing your story, and I’m grateful for any support from the community as I prepare for my own launch!
