My title is HR Generalist, but my real job is... complicated. Hi PH!

Hey Product Hunt π
Here I am making my official intro. My name's Mrinal Bhatt, and I live at the weird intersection of people and technology.
I work as an HR Generalist at Peakflo (YC W22), trying to make the human side of work better. When I'm not doing that, I'm falling down the rabbit hole of agentic AI and psychology, fascinated by how tech can fundamentally change corporate culture (for the better, hopefully).
Super excited to connect with other folks in the HR tech, applied AI, organisational psychology space, or just anyone building something awesome.
So, to break the ice: what's the most unexpected "hat" you have to wear at your job?

Hello Mrinal! Unfortunately, I cannot say what unusual hat I wore at work because I do not wear hats. However, I am curious about what you do, and your research on AI and psychology is interesting. Do you have an article on this topic? :)
@ixordΒ Hi Igor, wearing multiple hats is often common while working in a fast paced startup, essentially my role.
My thesis was on job autonomy and it's impact on employee burnout and work engagement. At that time however I didn't integrate AI in my study for a focused scope of research.

@mrinalbhattΒ Thank you for your response. The topic for the article is indeed very interesting :)
To tell you the truth, in August this year, I was transferred from the human resources position to the role of growth marketing manager. I think the vision, perspective, and problem-solving ideas of the two positions are very different, but this contrast makes me excited and passionate.
@flashidbrowerΒ that sounds like an interesting and different switch. Happy to know you're liking this change!
