I work across IT, cybersecurity, AI and digital projects, and one thing kept bothering me:
Choosing a “private” AI setup is much harder than it looks.
A self-hosted app can still rely on cloud inference.
A local model may not actually fit your hardware.
And an open-source tool doesn’t automatically mean the model behind it is suitable for professional use.
So I started building STACKELIER — a Private AI Stack Finder for professionals.
The idea is simple:
TASK + PRIVACY + HARDWARE + EVIDENCE = FIT
Instead of ranking tools by popularity, STACKELIER tries to evaluate the actual configuration: where the app runs, where the data lives, where inference happens, hardware compatibility, model/runtime fit and supporting evidence.
The project is live now, and I’m still refining it based on real feedback.
I’m especially interested in meeting people here working on local AI, private AI, self-hosted infrastructure, RAG, cybersecurity and developer tools.
