Hi Product Hunt, I’m Ana, building an AI-powered progress tracking for action sports

by•

Hi everyone! I’m Ana.

I’m a software engineer and solo founder building , a platform for tracking athlete development in action sports like skateboarding and surfing.

I actually started building it because of my kids.

They skate, and over the years we accumulated thousands of training videos, coach feedback, tricks they were working on, competitions, goals… but none of it really told the story of their progression.

A coach might have a great clip of a trick from three months ago somewhere in their camera roll. A parent remembers that something improved. The athlete remembers working on it. But there’s rarely a structured history connecting all of those moments.

So I started building that.

Eleve now lets athletes and coaches organize training around sessions, skills, videos, feedback and progress, and I’m experimenting quite a bit with how AI can help make all of that history useful instead of just becoming more data.

I left my engineering job last year to work on it full-time, so right now I’m in that slightly terrifying stage where the product is real, people are using it, and I’m learning how to actually turn it into a company 😅

I’m planning to launch here in a few weeks, but before that I genuinely want to get to know this community rather than showing up on launch day out of nowhere.

Curious, for other founders here, what changed once you went from “building the product” to actually having to distribute it?

That transition has probably been the biggest learning curve for me so far.
