Hi, I'm Ri — designer and marketing lead at Capsule
Hi everyone, I'm Ri, UI/UX designer and marketing lead at Capsule.
Honest version of how I got here: I was a fresh grad freelancing while job hunting when Jens reached out unexpectedly. I was referred from an interview I didn't even get through months before. I had doubts, and I'd just accepted another offer at the same time. Not exactly the story of someone who jumped at the opportunity.
I started by building Capsule's visual identity, something that could work across the UI and marketing without feeling like two different things. That turned into a full marketing role and UI/UX work. Still part-time, but more than I expected.
Currently working on the relaunch and figuring things out as we go. For anyone who's been here a while: what actually makes a launch worth it beyond the upvotes?

Appreciate the honest take on your path to Capsule...launches can open doors through real connections and insights (outreach was key for my previous ones, including a product of the day). If you're up for it, I'm launching on PH soon...would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile) for The Sponge, an AI-powered flashcard app.
