InBrief 1.0 - Status page features priced on their own, from $1 a month

I built this because every status page I looked at wanted me to buy a tier.

I needed a public page and a custom domain. That put me on a plan that also carried five things I was never going to switch on, and the price carried all of them.

So here the pricing is a builder. You tick what you want and the total is what those pieces add up to:

• Public status page — $1/mo
• Incident management — $3
• Monitoring and automatic detection — $3
• Subscriber updates: email, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Telegram — $2
• Branding and custom domain — $2
• Slack alerts — $1
• Multilingual pages — $2

A page on your own domain with incidents and monitoring comes to $9/mo. The status page needs incidents or monitoring alongside it - the builder adds the dependency for you rather than selling you something that cannot work on its own. Paid plans start at $3 a month. There is a free plan too: one page, three monitors, 30 days of history.

Two things I care about more than the price.

The page is hosted apart from the things it watches. A status page that goes down inside the outage it is reporting on is worse than no status page.

One update goes everywhere. You write the incident update once and it reaches the page, your email subscribers, Discord, Microsoft Teams and Telegram. I did not want to be copy-pasting at 2am.
