Since launching in January, we’ve shipped lots of updates: Open Source Hot Dev is now open source under Apache 2.0. The Hot language, runtime, CLI, dashboard, scheduler, workers, standard library, and packages are available on GitHub. AI Agents We added hot-ai and hot-ai-agent Hot packages: reusable primitives and harness with patterns for agent memory, streaming replies, tool use, and MCP integration. We also shipped Hot Chat, a Next.js + Typescript application showing TeamAgent and PersonalAgent with memory features. MCP Tools and new Hot Packages Any Hot function can become an MCP tool for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. We also added new packages for Slack, AWS, MCP, JSON-RPC, FFmpeg, Playwright, Whisper, Tesseract, Supabase, and more. Real-world Features for Businesses Support for custom domains, service keys, webhooks, scoped permissions, sessions, alerts, long-running Tasks, and Hot Box for running OCI containers from Hot code. We've also added JS/TS and Python SDKs for easier Hot API usage. Getting Started is Free In addition to being open source and free for local development, we added a free Hot Cloud plan for users who want to experience the one-command deploys to the Cloud.
