Why I built Holina Factory on my own GPUs

by•

Hey everyone, I'm John, the founder of EpochCore.

Before this I built a food truck company into four brick-and-mortar locations and sold it in 2023. So I know how little time a small business owner has for making content, and how much they hate a bill they can't predict.

Holina Factory started as an internal tool. I had two GPUs of my own, an RTX 5090 and a GX10, and I set them up to make our own marketing clips. It worked well enough that I opened it to other people. Ten people signed up before I listed it anywhere, and four of them pay for it now.

Here's how it works. You describe the clip you want and it renders on our hardware. You keep or reject each result in a review room, put your keepers together on a timeline, and send them to your connected social accounts. Nothing posts until someone on your team approves it.

Pricing is flat, not credits. Starter is $29 a month for 50 ten-second clips, with a 14-day trial. If you found us here, the code PRODUCTHUNT takes 20% off your first 3 months.

I'd like to hear from people who make short video for a business. What part still takes you the longest? And what would it take for you to trust a tool to post for you?
