Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Here's something that should scare you: the phishing email you'll fall for probably won't look suspicious. It may look exactly like an email from your bank, coworker, or favorite retailer. That's because modern attacks no longer rely on obvious red flags. They use legitimate-looking websites, real email accounts, and AI-generated messages designed to create trust, urgency, and pressure. That's why we built Haven. Today, we're excited to relaunch with our biggest update yet: AI-powered email protection. Unlike traditional spam filters that focus on the sender, Haven analyzes the full context of an email—who sent it, what they're asking for, where links lead, and whether the message uses pressure or urgency to manipulate you. Here's what Haven does: 🔍 Verifies links before you click 🛡️ Confirms you're on the real site with a verified banner 📧 Spots phishing and social engineering signals in emails 🚫 Disables risky browser extensions on sensitive sites Who is this for? → Anyone who banks, shops, or manages finances online → People who receive lots of emails and can't always tell what's real → Anyone who wants protection that works quietly in the background The details: ✓ FREE for individuals ✓ 200+ sensitive sites protected ✓ Takes less than 30 seconds to install What's the most convincing phishing attempt you've ever seen? Have you ever come close to falling for one yourself? We'd love to hear your stories below 👇

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Colin here from Haven.

We built Haven because a lot of the old phishing advice is starting to break.

For years, people were told to look for typos, weird sender names, bad design, or sketchy links. But AI can now make fake emails, login pages, and support messages look completely normal. The problem isn’t that people aren’t paying attention, it’s that the signals have changed.

Haven gives people a second opinion before they click. It looks at the page, the link, and the context around it, then warns you when something seems off.

It’s free for individuals, and we’re also building Haven for Business for teams that want to protect employees without turning everyone into a security analyst.

Would genuinely love feedback from this community: where are you seeing the most convincing scams right now? Email, banking, job offers, SaaS logins, or somewhere else?

I love Haven! It's free to install which is a huge plus where everything nowadays seems to cost money, or have a freemium model where all the useful features are paywalled. I'm a computer guy, and nowadays I even fail to catch a ton of links that are suspicious. I recently had my identity stolen, with someone signing up for a credit card for me, because of a phishing scam which Haven prevents. Never browsing without it again. Thank you for using AI for good 👏👏

@fbuesnel Thank you! And yes, we decided to make Haven free because we believe online protection shouldn't cost people money!! Glad you are enjoying the product!

I started using Haven a few weeks ago, and this new product launch has completely changed the game. Having the flags in my inbox makes it so much easier to recognize when an email is suspicious and I feel so much more confident clicking links/trusting emails now. Love to see AI being used to create products to keep us safe.

Question for the team: are y'all working on building a mobile solution? I check my email on my phone a lot and I would love if this worked there as well.

@carli_chovick1 Thank you for trying it! And to answer your question about mobile - yes! it's on our roadmap!
