Hi Product Hunt, I'm Bugra, the solo dev behind Gootaku.

I built it for anime fans who have stories in their head but can't draw. You type a scene, pick a style (shonen, shojo, seinen, webtoon, retro comic and more) and get a single panel. You lay out the page, add speech, thought and shout balloons yourself, then export or publish it.

What's in it today:

  • Comic and Manga: up to 4 panels per page, balloons, narration and SFX

  • GIF: short looping animations

  • Video: 5, 10 or 15 second anime clips

  • Wobble: make your own art wiggle (runs in your browser, no AI)

  • Characters: save your OC and reuse it across panels

  • Explore: a community feed, plus r/gootaku for prompts and weekly challenges

Try it with no account: open and make one panel.

Pricing, plainly: 1 token = 1 image. You get 1 token at signup and 1 more every 2 days. A video costs 3, 6 or 9 tokens. If you want more, packs are one-time: 10 tokens for $1 (once per account), 25 for $2.99, 100 for $7.49, 500 for $29.99. No subscription, and tokens don't expire. On a free account, exports carry a watermark and images are deleted after 7 days.

The site is in 9 languages (English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian) and there's an iOS app, AI Manga Maker.

I'd love to hear what you'd make first, and what's missing. I'm here all day answering.
